Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Filtration Separation Specialist to support and train our filtration/separation rental fleet for internal and external customers. This role is customer-facing, sales-oriented, and involves project management that coordinates Engineering, Sales, Operations, and the end customer.

The position covers California and focuses on designing solutions, improving water quality, and supporting our team with training and on-site demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate technical needs to internal/external customers and vendors.
• Knowledge of filtration and treatment products for water quality goals.
• Aptitude for coordinating cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations).

Responsibilities

• Communicate technical needs to customers and vendors.
• Provide design recommendations for meeting water quality goals at sites using Rain for Rent equipment.
• Assist sales to develop solutions through on-site and online presentations.
• Learn customer requirements, market trends, and competition to inform sales strategies.
• Support filtration/separation training for sales and operations teams.
• Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations such as the Clean Water Act and NPDES.
• Provide reports on product performance and trends.
• Document equipment capabilities through data collection.
• Ensure products meet customer expectations and manage project risk.
