Aerotek is seeking a Filters Assembly Operator (2nd shift) in Aurora, OH. This contract-to-hire role involves assembling filter components, operating foot-controlled equipment, and ensuring quality while meeting production goals.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our Filters Assembly Operator department. Join a dynamic team in a stable and growing manufacturing environment, where you will have the opportunity to work with advanced materials and contribute to producing high-quality filter components. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half.
Assemble filter components by placing multiple layers of materials such as glass weave, fiberglass, and felt-like materials onto a rotating assembly table.
Operate foot-controlled assembly equipment to move products through the assembly process.
Ensure filters are stapled and secured as they go around the automated round table.
Remove completed filters from the table for packaging.
Stack, count, package, and prepare products for shipment when working on the packaging table.
Rotate between assembly, packing, and material handling tasks throughout the shift.
Support other manufacturing areas as needed, including press operations, cutting machines, and glass weave molding processes.
Inspect products for quality and accuracy while maintaining production goals.
Experience working with fiberglass materials in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform repetitive, detail-oriented production or assembly work.
Fast-paced packaging, counting, or production experience.
Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warm manufacturing setting.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, OH.
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
