Qualifications

• The requirements list a degree in a related engineering field and 3+ years in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Proficiency with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows, SPC/DOE, and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated CI mindset (Lean/Six Sigma) and hands-on troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Own setup, centerlining, and optimization for film coating/embossing and converting/winding; define SOPs and process windows.
• Create/maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flows, and operation sheets; ensure documentation is current.
• Apply SPC/DOE/CPK and troubleshooting to stabilize gauge, adhesion, optics, and winding performance; reduce scrap.
• Lead equipment capability studies and improvements to dies/air rings/web handling, including line condition tracking.
• Analyze OEE, downtime, scrap, and material variance; drive Lean projects to improve yield and cost.
