Job summary

Ingenyx is seeking a manufacturing operator to produce coated wire per customer specs and participate in cross-training across tubing insulation and braider operations. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reading and following process sheets, and maintaining accurate data records.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery to manufacture insulated wire to customer specifications.
  • Cross-train in tubing insulating, tubing prototypes, braider operations.
  • Follow specification/process sheets and QA procedures.
  • Use specified measuring equipment and gauges, maintain traceability data.
  • Document and record process data for QA and compliance.
  • Identify when a process is out of specification and notify quality.

Manufacture coated wire products to customer specifications. Exhibits and supports the development of a culture that identifies safe, quality production as number one goal.

  • Operates machinery and equipment to manufacture insulated wire to customer specification.
  • Secondary cross-training in tubing insulating, tubing prototypes, braider operations.
  • Follows specification/process sheets.
  • Accurately uses specified measuring equipment and other approved gauging instruments following prescribed procedures to meet specifications.
  • Documents and records data used in traceability reporting, statistical process control data collection, customer compliance, and quality assurance of products.
  • Identifies when process is out of specification and recognizes when to notify quality.
  • Follow QA procedures and requirements.
  • Follow safety procedures, good housekeeping practices, including the use of required PPE.
  • Follow environmental policies and procedures.
Education / Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • The employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers, handle or fell objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 500 pounds with the aid of material handling devices. Specific vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
