Job summary

Ingenyx is seeking a Tubing Visual Inspection Technician in the United States for precise inspection of tubing and tubing prototypes. You will record data for traceability, participate in multiple processes, and ensure quality compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Expect cross-training in flushing and cutting, packaging duties, and strict adherence to safety and process instructions. Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and basic math are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Basic math and assembly skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work as part of an effective team.
• Must distinguish color and have good vision for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Intermediate and final inspection of tubing and tubing prototypes.
• Cross trained in the flushing and tubing cutting process.
• Accurate recording of data used in traceability reporting, statistical process data collection, customer compliance and quality assurance of medical products.
• Responsible for the packaging of material.
• Inspection of tubing for visual defects as shown on microscopes, monitor microscope and box light.
• When performing the cutting procedure the tube is cut to specified length manually and using automated tubing and braided tubing cutters.
• Flushing of the tubing requires the tubes to be prepared for a cleaning process after the removal of the mandrel.

The position will be inspecting tubing for visual defects as shown on microscopes. Accurate recording of data, data collection. This position is a multi-task position and will rotate to areas where needed.

Education / Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred.

• Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operatoring instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Must be able to distinguish color and good vision is required for inspection purposes.

• Sitting/and standing during the inspection and cutting process. Rotating between as needed. Occasional lifting from .5 pounds to 25 pounds necessary/Max 40 lbs. with assistance when needed.
