Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred packaging industry experience (paper, plastics, converting).
• Preferred 1 year experience on cast-film extrusion machines.
• Preferred experience with production software (Vorne).

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery safely and efficiently to meet customer demand.
• Setup extrusion lines and perform roll changes as needed.
• Load resin, additives and blends; verify material types and ratios.
• Monitor and adjust melt temperatures, pressures, bubble height, inflation, and cooling systems.
• Identify and correct machine issues; report to supervisor or maintenance.
• Maintain machine upkeep: die cleaning, screen changes, filter changes.
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards; follow GMPs and safety rules.
• Train and assist other operators; complete production and quality reports.
• Adhere to production schedules and optimize for cost, quality, and service.
