Meridian Adhesives Group in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Filling Tech I on the 2nd shift to operate and set up filling equipment, perform changeovers, and conduct in-process quality checks with accurate production documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years in filling/packaging/manufacturing, along with strong troubleshooting and communication skills. Starting pay is $19.00/hr plus $0.75/hr second shift differential, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in filling, packaging, or manufacturing roles preferred.
• Proficient in operating multiple filling and packaging machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple types of filling and packaging equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform equipment set-ups, cleaning, adjustments, and changeovers with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine mechanical or process issues on the production line.
• Monitor production efficiency and suggest minor process improvements.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and production logs.
