Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Town of Grand Island, NY is seeking a Filling Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) in a clean room, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

The role operates high-speed filling equipment, conducts cleaning, setup, minor maintenance, changeovers and breakdowns using aseptic technique and follows SOPs to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs chest high.
• Adhere to and stay current on all training requirements.
• Wear clean room safety equipment/apparel and maintain safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed filling equipment in a clean room and temperature-controlled environment.
• Perform cleaning, setup, minor maintenance, changeovers and breakdowns of filling lines.
• Follow aseptic technique and document procedures and results according to SOPs.

Hourly Range: $21.50 - 22.50

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Our Filling Machine Operators are responsible for running high-speed computerized filling equipment in a clean room and temperature controlled manufacturing environment. They conduct cleaning, set-up, minor maintenance, changeovers, and breakdown of filling lines using proper aseptic technique, and strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required


• Medical, food, or other cGMP production environment experience strongly preferred


• Mechanical aptitude required
