Job summary

Fresenius Kabi in Grand Island, Nebraska, seeks a Filling Machine Operator to run high-speed filling equipment in a clean room, ensure aseptic processing, and perform line setup and maintenance. The role requires adherence to SOPs and GMP documentation.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. English proficiency is mandatory due to the regulated work environment.

• Medical, food, or other cGMP production environment experience strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs chest high.
• Adhere to and stay current on all training requirements.
• Wear clean room safety equipment/apparel and maintain safe work environment.
• The Company’s primary business language is English. The successful candidate must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform the essential functions of the position, including independently understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications written in English due to our heavily regulated work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed filling equipment in a clean room and temperature-controlled environment.
• Perform cleaning, setup, minor maintenance, changeovers, and breakdowns of filling lines.
• Follow aseptic techniques and document procedures as required.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and quality systems.

• 3rd Shift is 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday nights
• Hourly Range: $21.50 – 23.50
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

They conduct cleaning, set-up, minor maintenance, changeovers, and breakdown of filling lines using proper aseptic technique, and strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements.
