Job summary

Foster Farms in Fresno, CA is hiring for a production worker on the fillet line. You will debone front halves, inspect product, and ensure packaging meets specifications on a fast-moving line. Shift starts 9:30 AM with overtime as needed.

Candidates must stand 8–10 hours, lift up to 35 lbs, and use knives or scissors. Rotation through all line positions is required; prior meat-processing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to stand for 8–10 hours on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs. required.
• Rotation into all positions on the fillet line is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Utilize knives to debone front halves
• Product Grading and Packing- Identify and pack product into trays or bulk product codes that meet product specifications
• Salvaging - Utilize salvaging techniques to separate bruised, damaged, mis-cut or diseased chicken/chicken parts.
