Foster Farms in Fresno, California is seeking a Cut-up Line Employee to identify and sort various grades of chicken product from the packaging lines and place into appropriate packaging that meets quality and product specifications.

The role requires standing for long periods, handling small hand tools, and rotating through all positions on the cut-up line. Candidates should be able to lift up to 35 lbs and perform salvaging to meet quality standards.

Formación

• Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Must be able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Rotation into all positions on the cut-up line is required.

Description

Shift: 9:30am - 6pm + OT

(Additional $.20 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

Cut up line employee responsibilities require the employee to identify and sort various grades of product from the packaging lines and place into appropriate packaging that sufficiently meets quality and product specifications. Employees are also expected to upgrade product that does not meets quality standards through salvaging techniques and then place into suitable product codes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8-10 hrs.) on a concrete/metal grate floor
• Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs. required.
• Rotation into all positions on the cut-up line is required.
