Job summary

Foster Farms in Fresno is seeking a line worker to support our processing line. You will grade and pack products to meet specifications and perform salvaging of bruised or unsuitable chicken parts.

The role requires standing 8–10 hours, using small hand tools, visual inspection, and lifting up to 35 pounds while rotating through all positions on the fillet line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 8–10 hrs on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and perform repetitive pushing/pulling.
• Rotate through all positions on the fillet line.

• Salvaging – Utilize salvaging techniques to separate bruised, damaged, mis-cut or diseased chicken/chicken parts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8-10 hrs) on a concrete/metal grate floor
• Must be able to use small hand held tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs required.
• Rotation into all positions on the fillet line is required.
