Job summary

Foster Farms in Fresno, CA is seeking a dedicated associate to join its production team on the fillet line. The role requires standing for extended periods, handling knives, and performing deboning, packing, and product grading with attention to quality and safety.

You will rotate through all positions on the line, perform salvaging of bruised or damaged product, and follow standard work instructions while meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods (8-10 hrs) on a concrete/metal grate floor.
• Must be able to use small handheld tools such as knives or scissors.
• Able to visually inspect product and separate chicken.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting; and lifting up to 35 lbs required.
• Rotation into all positions on the fillet line is required.

Responsibilities

• Product Grading and Packing- Identify and pack product into trays or bulk product codes that meets product specifications
• Salvaging - Utilize salvaging techniques to separate bruised, damaged, mis-cut or diseased chicken/chicken parts.
