Job summary

DFA is seeking a production line operator to clean, set up, operate, and monitor filler equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will complete documentation, conduct quality checks, and ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product.

The role requires ability to work in a team, maintain accurate records, and follow GMP and safety guidelines. Training and a pathway for certification may be provided as part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of filler operator or related production equipment experience.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment of the production line.
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
• Adjust filler timing and filling; check mat as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating difficulties, including uncommon or more difficult problems.
• Collect required samples needed for quality assurance testing.
• Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product produced.
• Maintain communication with other departments and notify of problems affecting efficiency.
• Complete cleaning checklist once line has completed run.
• Prepare equipment for next run including size changes as needed.
