Job summary

Mayfield-Dairy-Farms seeks an on-site production operator to run and monitor the filler line. You will perform quality checks, document results, and ensure correct packaging for multiple product families.

You will adjust timing, troubleshoot issues, sample for QA, and help with line changeovers while adhering to GMP, safety standards, and SOPs. Collaborative team player with strong communication is expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the production line.
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
• Make adjustments to filler timing and filling; check mat as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Collect required samples for quality assurance testing.
• Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product.
• Watch for jams on label operator and thread wrap to prevent downtime.
• Perform filler and line changeovers safely and efficiently.
• Complete cleaning checklist after run.
• Prepare equipment for next run and size changes as needed.
• Maintain communication with other departments and notify of problems.
• Ensure information is documented per SOPs.
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management.
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow GMP and regulations.
