Job summary

Finlays Solutions seeks a Filler Operator to run filling and packing lines, ensuring GMP and safety compliance while meeting daily production goals. The role emphasizes accuracy in weights, quality checks, and proper sanitation practices within a clean, organized plant floor.

The successful candidate will support CIP/SIP cleaning, record production data, and collaborate with Quality to uphold product standards in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong reading/writing in English to understand procedures and safety instructions.
• Basic math skills including weights and measures and the use of a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor filler machines and related equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with SOPs, GMPs, and WO instructions.
• Process work orders accurately and on time according to the daily production schedule.
• Support CIP/SIP and manual cleaning of equipment as needed.
• Perform fill volume and weight checks and adjust settings to meet specifications.
• Monitor product quality during production and make operating adjustments as required.
• Document production details accurately, including weights, teardown results, cap integrity, downtime, and sanitation records.
• Identify and remove defective or damaged cartons to prevent jams or quality issues.
• Maintain an adequate supply of caps and cases at the machine to support continuous operation.
• Ensure proper application and sealing of caps and cases, inspecting glue patterns and case integrity.
• Support minor equipment maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.
