Job summary

CareBuilders at Home in Plano, TX seeks a compassionate, Filipino/Tagalog-speaking caregiver to support senior clients in their homes. Language-cultural match is highly valued. Starting pay is based on experience and client requirements.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care per care plans, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, and meal prep. Emphasis on privacy, HIPAA compliance, and clear communication with families and care teams.

Qualifications

• Speaks Tagalog and understands cultural nuances.
• Prior caregiving experience (family or professional) in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Warm, patient, dependable, and kind-hearted.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow the client’s plan of care to deliver personal care services as assigned.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely from bed to chair, etc.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer culturally respectful, language-matched care.
• Report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and comply with policies (HIPAA).
• Communicate updates with family and care team.

We are seeking a compassionate, Filipino/Tagalog-speaking caregiver to support our Plano/Allen Senior adult clients in their homes. Many of our clients specifically request caregivers who understand their language and culture - your skills make a real difference! • Tagalog / Filipino (required)

Qualifications
