Job summary

Serco seeks a Fighter Pilot or WSO / CSO / NFO Operations SME for the Combat Air Forces Distributed Training Center (CAF DTC) at Langley AFB, VA, to facilitate advanced training and mission rehearsal. An active DoD Secret clearance with TS/SCI/SAP/SAR eligibility is required.

You will plan, brief, execute and debrief LFEs and Small Team events, travel as needed, and provide consulting on training doctrine while staying current on 5th-gen fighter employment and related tactics.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ fighter aviator experience or Master’s with 7 years’ experience or PhD with 4 years’ experience.
• Former Fighter Pilot/NFO/CSO/WSO with aircraft experience: F-15/F-16/F/A-18 family, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 fighter employment or service equivalent manual.
• Operationally relevant experience within past 10 years (simulators count).

Responsibilities

• Support daily training by scheduling, mission planning, creating mission materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing LFEs and Small Team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences and integrate unit training requirements into missions.
• Provide consulting expertise to military/defense clients to develop and evaluate training doctrine and execution, including doctrinal development, scenario development, and data analysis.
