Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Fighter Pilot/WSO SME for the Air Combat Command’s CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA. The role supports distributed training for U.S. and allied aircrews, with mission planning and training integration across LFEs and small-team exercises.

The candidate will stay current on threats and tactics, participate in planning conferences, and help develop JSE distribution over the DMO network while leveraging NGTS, CES, and MACE tools.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years’ fighter aviator experience, or Master’s 7 years, or PhD 4 years.
• Former Fighter Pilot, NFO, CSO, or WSO with aircraft: F-15C/E/EX, F-16C, F/A-18, EA-18G, F-22, F-35.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 fighter employment or service equivalent manual.
• Operationally relevant experience within the past 10 years (simulator acceptable).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, plan missions, brief, execute, and debrief LFEs and Small Team events.
• Use NGTS to develop and test JSE distribution across the DMO Network.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences and meetings to adapt unit training needs into missions.
• Provide consulting to military/defense clients for training doctrine, scenario development, and data analysis.
