Job summary

Pollo Tropical is seeking team members to provide friendly service, manage orders, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. You will assist in food preparation, payment handling, and stock rotation while following safety standards.

This role supports smooth kitchen and front-of-house operations in a busy restaurant. Experience in a fast-casual setting is helpful; training on POS systems and food safety will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to receive and respond promptly to requests, orders, and instructions.
• Able to communicate with customers and coworkers clearly.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks and changing assignments.
• Willing to learn POS and kitchen screen workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers and take orders
• Relay orders from service counter to kitchen
• Cook, prepare, and portion food using kitchen equipment
• Stock kitchen and service areas with supplies
• Keep salsa bars stocked with sauces, condiments, and utensils
• Handle customer payments and provide correct change
• Assist with deliveries and restaurant cleanliness
• Comply with safety and sanitation procedures
