Baker Hughes Company is hiring a Wireline Field Operator in Mount Pleasant, MI. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, tool maintenance, and on-site operations at well sites and shops.

You will train junior operators, maintain records, and ensure safety while delivering service excellence. The position demands a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat (or the ability to obtain one within 6 months), a clean driving record, and the flexibility to travel regionally and stay at remote sites as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Heavy mechanical aptitude with hands-on tool/engine experience.
• Must be 21+ to obtain ATF explosives certification.
• CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Class A or B) or pass driving test within 6 months and obtain CDL/Hazmat.
• Ability to work with customers and team members.
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 and travel as needed.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass federal background check.
• Proficient in using computers for reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs, perform tool maintenance, and pre/post-job checks.
• Rig and operate at well sites; maintain units and shop stability.
• Service mechanical devices and build/maintain logging cable heads.
• Maintain well site/DOT records and customer communications.
• Train and supervise junior operators; promote safety at sites.
• Travel regionally and occasionally stay at remote locations.
