Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to maintain turbine operations at wind sites across the Colorado hub. The role involves daily mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical work, with coordination to meet contract requirements and safety standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and wind-related credentials or electrical experience. This is a hands-on role with travel, site support, and potential overnight work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year wind technician experience or wind certificate/Associates in Energy, or 2 years electrical work experience.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wind turbine sites and perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Document work with service reports and coordinate with remote operations center.
• Support site operations as directed with minimal supervision and safety compliance.
• Assist in diagnostic electrical analysis and reporting.
