Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Welding Inspector to join our field team supporting gas pipeline projects in the Midwest and Northeast regions. You will perform visual weld inspections, interpret procedures, and ensure safety and quality in line with industry standards.

This field-based role emphasizes hands-on oversight, strong client and contractor relationships, and a commitment to compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Certification such as CWI or CPWI is required.
• Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance is essential.
• Strong field welding knowledge in utility environments.
• Enjoys field work and solving challenges in real-time.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
• Identify and address welding defects and maintain client/contractor relationships.
• Deliver high-quality work and ensure safety, quality, and compliance in natural gas distribution projects.
• This is a field-based role with hands-on oversight and compliance.
