Job summary

Primoris Pipeline, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to oversee pipeline welding across construction sites. You will verify welding procedures, welder qualifications, and perform visual weld inspections while ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.

The role requires 3–5 years of inspection experience, reading drawings and welding symbols, and travel to project sites with a valid driver’s license. API/ASME/AWS codes knowledge is essential for this field-based role.

Qualifications

• CWI certification and 3–5 years of welding inspection experience.
• Ability to read drawings, welding symbols and specifications.
• Experience with API, ASME and AWS codes and standards for pipelines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pipeline welding activities for code compliance and client requirements.
• Review welding procedures and verify welder qualifications prior to production welding.
• Perform visual inspections of welds and monitor welding parameters.
• Document findings, deficiencies, corrective actions, and daily reports.
• Coordinate NDT results and maintain inspection records.
