This field-oriented role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, AWS CWI certification, and 2+ years of pipeline or 3+ years underground utility construction experience, plus the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• AWS CWI certification required.
• Experience: 2+ years with pipeline construction or 3+ years underground utility construction.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of pipeline welding activities to ensure compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and AWS standards; verify fit-up, alignment, and weld quality.
• Read and interpret project plans, procedures, and specifications; track materials and quantities.
• Coordinate with contractors and clients to support project execution and maintain relationships.
• Document compliance through detailed daily reports, photos, and records using company digital tools.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
