Job summary

GeoTek is seeking a certified CWI Welding Inspector to join our Meridian office. You will perform testing, observations, and site assessments, working from drawings, specifications, and verbal/written instructions.

You will prepare data reports and timesheets while communicating with supervision and maintaining client relationships. The role requires AWS/CWI certification, various ICC certifications, and ACI Field certification, with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• AWS / CWI Certification required.
• ICC Structural Steel and Welding, Bolting, Masonry, Reinforced Concrete.
• ACI Field certification.
• UT Certifications.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily work assignments with Supervisor and Dispatch.
• Prepare daily and data reports of testing and inspections.
• Perform tests and inspections per drawings, specs and instructions.
• Submit project documents and timesheets for approval.
• Notify Supervisor or Project Manager of changes in scope or potential budget overruns.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
