Job summary

Delval Equipment is seeking a Welder/Mechanic to perform welding on piping and boiler vessels and provide mechanical maintenance for critical facilities across hospitals, schools, and industrial sites. You will travel regionally to customer sites and work both independently and with a team, ensuring safety and uptime.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of pipe or vessel welding experience, reads blueprints, and can operate MIG, TIG, and Stick processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pipe or vessel welding experience; stick welding proficiency required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with MIG, pipe fitting, refractory work, or basic electrical tasks is a plus.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting 50-75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Stick, MIG, and Tig welding on piping, boiler tubes, pressurized and unpressurized vessels.
• Conduct welding repairs on high‑pressure and low‑pressure boilers.
• Perform mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and emergency service support.
• Handle piping repairs, refractory work, pipe threading, and basic electrical tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Maintain safety protocols and organized work areas.
• Travel daily to customer sites throughout the region.
