Job summary

Kestra Medical Technologies, Inc in Glenbrook, IL seeks an ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to fit and train patients with a wearable defibrillator. This is a paid per fitting position supporting the sales organization and Regional Clinical Advisors.

Responsibilities include hands-on patient fittings, instruction, scheduling with prescribers, and travel to facilities and homes. A clinical or engineering background and valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year in a paid patient care experience (not as a family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background such as nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, catheterization lab techs, PA or ECG techs.

Responsibilities

• Act as contractor ASSURE Patient Specialist (APS) to fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients.
• Travel to hospitals, patients' homes, and healthcare facilities to provide fittings.
• Measure patient to determine garment size and manage paperwork for services.
