Job summary

Qualifications

• Construction Inspector I requires three years of inspection experience on public works projects or related fields.
• Construction Inspector II requires four years of inspection experience, with at least one year on major/complex projects.
• Experience in water utility infrastructure inspection is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contractors' work for conformance with contract requirements, including water mains, hydrants, and related infrastructure.
• Review plans and specifications; participate in pre-construction conferences.
• Enforce safety, coordinate with utilities and City departments, and maintain inspection documentation.
