Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a field-based sales professional to drive brand strategy, execute tactical plans, and maximize patient-centered outcomes across Greater Seattle, Tacoma and Alaska.

You will manage key accounts, build strong customer relationships and contribute to long-term sales performance. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years in pharma/health sectors and a proven sales track record.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant industry experience; at least three years in pharmaceutical/health/science sectors preferred.
• Bachelor or equivalent with high school diploma/GED as fallback.
• Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts selling approach.
• Proven track record of success in selling with strong presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of product, research and market dynamics; strategic thinker in a matrix environment.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements including background checks, drug screens and immunization proofs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; overnight attendance at trainings and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals.
• Create pre-call plans with SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to improve sales performance.
• Serve customer needs to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements with AbbVie and customers.
• Develop and execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors and dynamics for alignment.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and identify disease state experts and advocates.
