Job summary

Intellectt Inc is seeking a Field Verification Engineer in Midland, TX to drive field asset verification, data collection, and CMMS data preparation within manufacturing plants.

You will review P&IDs, develop asset hierarchies, and coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate asset master data and PM strategies. This contract role emphasizes hands-on site work and collaboration with OEMs and vendors.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in process, packaging, or manufacturing plants.
• Experience in FMCG, Pharma, Food processing, or similar industries.
• Hands-on CMMS experience including asset management.
• Field verification and plant walkdowns knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification to collect equipment data.
• Review P&IDs, drawings, manuals, and plant documentation.
• Develop and maintain mechanical asset registers and master data.
• Establish asset hierarchies for CMMS deployment.
• Develop PM plans for mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Engineering teams.
• Work with OEMs and vendors to obtain technical information.
• Provide progress updates and participate in client discussions.

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Field Verification Engineers / Mechanical Engineers with strong experience in Asset Management and CMMS within process, packaging, or manufacturing plant environments. The role focuses on field asset verification, equipment data collection, asset hierarchy development, preventive maintenance planning, BOM validation, and CMMS data preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification to collect equipment data.
• Review P&IDs, equipment drawings, manuals, and plant documentation.
• Develop and maintain mechanical equipment asset registers.
• Create and validate equipment master data and asset attributes.
• Establish equipment hierarchies and parent-child relationships for CMMS deployment.
• Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for mechanical equipment.
• Prepare Job Plans, Task Lists, and Standard Maintenance Procedures.
• Validate Bills of Materials (BOM) for maintainable assets.
• Define maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality and OEM recommendations.
• Prepare CMMS-ready asset upload templates.
• Support CMMS data cleansing, enrichment, and standardization.
• Validate asset master data before system upload.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Operations, and Engineering teams.
• Work with OEMs and vendors to obtain technical information.
• Participate in client reviews, workshops, and technical discussions.
• Provide progress reports and technical updates.

Required Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 7 years of relevant experience in process, packaging, or manufacturing plants.
• Experience in FMCG, Pharma, Food Processing, or similar process industries.
• Strong experience in Asset Management / CMMS.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, SAP PM, or other CMMS platforms.
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, maintenance strategies, and asset reliability.
• Experience with field verification / plant walkdowns and equipment documentation.
