Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Asset Management to develop and maintain asset data, equipment hierarchy, PM programs, BoMs, and reliability improvements for industrial facilities in the United States.

You will support CMMS platforms such as Maximo and SAP PM, coordinate with maintenance, reliability, operations and engineering teams, and create Maximo/SAP-ready templates to ensure accurate asset master data.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years in Process/Packaging plants with asset management.
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo, SAP PM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification to collect data.
• Review P&IDs, equipment drawings, manuals, and plant docs for asset info.
• Develop and maintain asset registers for mechanical equipment.
• Create and validate equipment, master data and asset attributes.
• Establish equipment hierarchy and parent-child relationships for CMMS.
• Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for mechanical equipment.
• Prepare Job Plans, Task Lists, and Standard Maintenance Procedures.
• Validate Bills of Materials (BoM) for maintainable assets.
• Define maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality and OEM recommendations.
• Create structured asset hierarchies aligned with client standards.
• Prepare Maximo/SAP-ready asset upload templates.
• Support CMMS cleansing, enrichment, and standardization activities.
• Validate asset master data prior to system upload.
• Coordinate with maintenance, reliability, operations, and engineering teams for data.
• Interact with OEMs and vendors to obtain technical information.
• Participate in client reviews, workshops, and technical discussions.
• Provide periodic progress reports and technical updates.

Mechanical Engineer – Asset Management

The Mechanical Engineer – Asset Management will be responsible for developing and maintaining asset information, equipment hierarchy, preventive maintenance programs, Bills of Materials (BoM), and reliability improvement initiatives for industrial facilities. Requirements
