Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of asset management experience in process/packaging plants.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as Maximo or SAP PM.
• Strong data collection, asset data management and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification to collect data.
• Review P&IDs, drawings, manuals, and plant docs for asset information.
• Develop and maintain asset registers for mechanical equipment.
• Create and validate equipment, master data and asset attributes.
• Establish equipment hierarchy and parent-child relationships for CMMS deployment.
• Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for mechanical equipment.
• Prepare Job Plans, Task Lists, and Standard Maintenance Procedures.
• Validate Bills of Materials (BoM) for maintainable assets.
• Define maintenance strategies based on criticality and OEM recommendations.
• Create structured asset hierarchies aligned with client standards.
• Prepare Maximo/SAP-ready asset upload templates.
• Support CMMS cleansing, enrichment, and standardization activities.
• Validate asset master data prior to system upload.
• Coordinate with maintenance, reliability, operations, and engineering teams for data.
• Interact with OEMs and vendors to obtain technical information.
• Participate in client reviews, workshops, and technical discussions.
• Provide periodic progress reports and technical updates.

The Mechanical Engineer - Asset Management will be responsible for developing and maintaining asset information, equipment hierarchy, preventive maintenance programs, Bills of Materials (BoM), and reliability improvement initiatives for industrial facilities.
