Job summary

America's Auto Auction (New Jersey) is seeking a Vehicle Inspector/Condition Report Writer to join our team in Freehold, NJ. This full-time role involves reviewing inspection data and photos to produce detailed condition reports for auction vehicles, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working independently or with field staff.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Able to be on your feet for the majority of the day.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Vehicle inspection background is a plus but not required.
Any outside skilled labor experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Review vehicle inspection data and photographs to prepare detailed condition reports.
Identify damage, wear, and discrepancies using established guidelines and industry standards.
Ensure reports meet internal quality standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with field staff and inspection teams to clarify findings as needed.
Submit accurate, professional reports in a timely manner to support vehicle sales, leasing, and valuation processes.
Complete 20 to 30 condition reports per day.
Vehicle lot management.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
