Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner to join our outdoor vegetation management team in Salisbury, NC. You will coordinate field crews, monitor safety, and ensure efficient progress on ROW projects using tablets and GIS tools.

The role requires you to hike and drive daily, assess hazards, and communicate with clients and leadership to maintain high standards of service. A valid license and willingness to work in varied weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with vegetation management practices
• Ability to hike/drive long distances daily
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of GIS and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and incidents.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect vegetation work and document data using tablets.
• Communicate with leadership, clients, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties.
