Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking a Field Valve Service Technician for a client in the South Houston, TX area. You will repair and service various valves or actuators at customer sites, troubleshoot both mechanically and electrically, and perform complete field tasks including testing and final inspection.

Responsibilities include documenting field service work, communicating with plant personnel, and adhering to safety and site training requirements.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED (2-year degree preferred)
Up to 25% travel requirement
2+ years valve production or repair experience
Reading blueprints and technical diagrams required
Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand/kneel/walk for long periods
Ability to work in heat/cold/clean room environments

Responsibilities

Repair ball, gate, globe, check and butterfly valves or actuators at worksites.
Troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves mechanically and electrically.
Perform pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, testing and final inspection on valves.
Submit field service reports to job coordinator upon completion.
Communicate effectively with plant personnel and customers.
Maintain company vehicle and complete site safety training.
