Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of valve production or repair experience.
• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical diagrams.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair ball, gate, globe, check and butterfly valves, or actuators at job worksites.
• Troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves mechanically and electrically.
• Perform pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and assembly of valves and actuators.
• Complete field service reports and submit to the job coordinator after work.
• Communicate effectively with plant personnel and understand customer requirements.
• Obtain site-specific safety training and maintain company vehicle in good condition.
• Assist others as required and adapt to management direction.
