Job summary

Probity Solutions Inc. is seeking a Valve Technician/Field Service Technician to join our Baytown team. You’ll work in the shop and in the field, providing valve testing, repair, and related services for maritime and industrial customers.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of valve service experience, basic mechanical knowledge, reliable work ethic, good communication, and a willingness to travel, plus on-call availability nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of valve service/field service experience.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Available to be on call and respond to field service requests on nights and weekends.
• Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Test and/or repair valves and other equipment for both maritime and industrial customers
• Repair valves and other equipment in the field for both maritime and industrial customers
• Create job reports for material used and time spent when in the field for bill processing purposes
• Keep track of inventory and request materials needed for field service work
• Keep field service vehicle properly maintained
