Job summary

FloWorks is seeking a Valve Automation Technician to operate in the field and provide on-call technical support for customers. You will install, configure, and commission MOVs, AOVs, and HOVs, perform diagnostic analyses, and troubleshoot advanced equipment in shop and field environments.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a HS Diploma or GED, and willingness to travel overnight. This position offers competitive benefits and a path for technical growth within a leading industrial

Qualifications

Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
Experience installing, setting up, and commissioning MOVs, AOVs, and HOVs.
Ability to build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment.

Responsibilities

Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service.
Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
Install, set-up, and commission MOV’s, AOV’s, HOV’s.
High level of electrical knowledge and theory.
Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.
Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies.
Analyzes and interprets test data.
Evaluates performance and reliability of materials.
Performs routine analysis, calculation and recommends changes.
Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.
Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required.
Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, techniques.
