Job Information

Operates in the field, on‑call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following blueprints and manufacturer’s instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Performs skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
• Installs, sets up, and commissions MOVs, AOVs, HOVs
• Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services
• Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies
• Evaluates performance and reliability of materials
• Diagnoses and reports malfunctions
• Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required

Qualifications

• Previous experience in flow control automation applications
• Electrical controls experience a plus
• Pneumatic controls experience a plus
• Applicable industrial electrical experience (controls)
• Applicable industrial mechanical experience (rotating equipment)
• Applicable NCCER certified in multiple areas a plus
• Applicable TDLR license a plus

Work Environment

This role operates in a field environment. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
