Job summary

The Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a UAM Pole Technician for on-site inspection and restoration of utility poles. This role requires independent work as a one-person crew, frequent travel, and strict safety adherence.

You will operate company vehicles, use GPS, iPads, GIS software, and data-collection tools, while collaborating with teammates and guiding new hires. The role includes extensive physical work and field duties.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting and restoring utility poles.
• Ability to work independently in a field setting.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR. Must pass safety course.
• Experience with GIS data collection and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate independently as needed, taking initiative on site.
• Drive and operate a company vehicle safely.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to complete projects.
• Prepare poles for treatment and assess surface prior to application of preservatives.
• Navigate to pole locations using GPS and mapping tools.
• Utilize GIS software, cameras, and iPads for data collection.
