Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. in Casper, WY is seeking a UAM Pole Technician 1 to perform inspections of utility poles, assess conditions, and determine restoration needs. The role involves travel across states, manual labor, and using handheld tools to install steel trusses when required.

You will mentor new employees, work as part of a team, and comply with safety standards while supporting infrastructure maintenance. Overtime and per diem are provided, with travel and lodging arranged.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding work in field environments.
• Willingness to travel 75-100% across states.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of utility structures to assess condition and restoration needs.
• Utilize handheld equipment such as drills, tensioners, and crimpers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to new employees.
• Excavate holes around utility poles as required for site preparation.
• Backfill holes upon completion of work.
• Assist in installation of steel trusses using pneumatic equipment.
• Perform manual labor and handle equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at job sites.
• Interact professionally with landowners about site activities.
• Work as part of a team and represent Davey Resource Group.
