Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an entry-level UAM Crew Member to perform hands-on utility pole maintenance tasks across Wisconsin and Minnesota. Expect travel, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety standards in a field setting.

The role involves excavation, pole restoration, and gear handling with ample on-site supervision and training opportunities. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a pesticide license may be required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work with limited direct supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, influence, and direct team members.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement resources.
• Demonstrated knowledge of utility infrastructure such as electric hazard/equipment identification.

Responsibilities

• Excavate holes around utility poles and prepare sites.
• Backfill holes upon completion of work.
• Assist in installing steel trusses using pneumatic equipment.
• Perform manual labor and carry equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and order at job sites.
• Interact professionally with landowners to explain site activities.
• Travel as required (75-100%).
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety rules.
