Job summary

GridHawk LLC seeks a dedicated Utility Locate Technician to accurately locate underground facilities such as electric lines, gas lines, and fiber optics. You will observe, locate, mark, and document locations, using multiple methods with supervision as required. Candidates must pass a background check and DOT drug test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State issued driver's license required.
• Ability to problem solve and read/interpret prints.

Responsibilities

• Locates underground facilities using transmitters and equipment.
• Works in various terrains and weather to locate and mark facilities.
• Interprets job orders, blueprints, and maps to plan work.
• Performs locates during regular, overtime, and holidays as needed.
• Communicates with customers and team to ensure a damage-free environment.
• Coordinates with management and utilities to ensure accuracy and safety.
