GridHawk LLC seeks Locate Technicians to accurately locate underground utilities such as telephone, power, cable, gas, fiber, water and sewer lines. You will observe, mark and document locations using multiple methods while working under supervision or independently.

Background checks and DOT drug testing are required; company benefits apply for full-time staff. You will receive company-provided tools and vehicles, plus PPE and technical equipment.

Competenze

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve in field situations.
• Ability to read, interpret and decipher multiple types of prints.
• Must have physical stamina to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Locate underground facilities using a transmitter and connect to buried facilities or pedestals.
• Work in and traverse construction zones and various terrains in all weather conditions.
• Interpret job orders, blueprints and maps to route and perform duties efficiently.
• Perform locates and on-call locates during regular hours, overtime, and holidays as needed.
• Communicate with customers, coworkers and third parties to ensure a damage-free environment.
