USIC LLC in Michigan is seeking a Locator to locate underground utilities across designated work areas. This full-time, outdoor role involves field work with a company vehicle and requires safety-conscious, problem-solving individuals.

No prior locating experience is required, but training is provided; overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts may apply. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring.
• Able to read, understand locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location and completing documentation.
