Job summary

USIC is hiring Utility Locators in Wisconsin (Sheboygan area). The role involves locating underground utilities, marking locations, and documenting each locate in all weather conditions. You will work in the field with a company vehicle, with opportunities for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets and maps.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately, marking locations.
• Thoroughly search for utilities in designated areas and document each locate.
• Photograph each locate and complete necessary paperwork.
• Work daytime, outside, with company-provided vehicle; overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
