Job summary

USIC is seeking a safety-focused locator to locate underground utilities in outdoor sites across Wisconsin. This full-time role uses a company-provided vehicle and equipment, with overtime and on-call shifts as needed.

Compensation starts at $21.00 per hour, with potential increases up to 5% at 4, 8, and 12 months. You will be responsible for accurately locating utilities, marking locations, completing required documentation, and communicating with excavators and property owners.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
