Job summary

USIC seeks a Locator in Kenosha, WI to locate underground utilities and mark their positions in designated areas. You will work in the field using a company vehicle, handling documentation, and photographing each locate. Training is provided with opportunities for advancement.

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, pass a drug screen, and maintain a valid driver’s license. Overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts are required at times.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Mark locations and complete documentation.
• Work to a 48-hour turnaround on locates.
• Available for overtime and on-call shifts.
