USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking outdoorsy individuals for full-time locator roles. You7ll work in the field with a company-provided vehicle, locating utilities such as electric, gas, water, and telecom infrastructure across various sites.

No prior locating experience is required, but candidates who are problem solvers, safety-conscious, and ready for a strong training program will thrive. Expect daytime shifts, overtime, and on-call duty as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid drivers license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
